Setting up your lamp

Unbox gently

Lift your lamp out by the base, not the shade or neck. Keep the packaging for 7 days, just in case.

Add your bulb

Most table & floor lamps use a standard E27 holder, screw in a warm-white LED (2700K). Projector, moon and mood lamps come with their LED built in.

Power on

Plug in and switch on. Rechargeable pieces (Luna, Panda Glow) charge via USB-C, give them a full charge first.

Style it

Place away from water and direct heat. Pair with dried flowers or books and you're glowing.

Looking after it

Care by material

Each piece is hand-finished, here's how to keep every material glowing.

Glass & orbs

Wipe with a dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners, they dull the finish. Handle blown glass gently; each piece is unique.

Ceramic & linen

Dust the shade with a soft brush or lint roller. Spot-clean linen with a barely-damp cloth. Keep ceramic bases away from knocks.

Rattan & woven

Dust between the weave with a dry brush. Keep out of damp rooms to prevent warping. A hairdryer on cool helps clear trapped dust.

Projectors & LED

Wipe the lens with a dry microfibre cloth only. Don't submerge. Use the remote to adjust brightness, colour and the auto-off timer.

Bulbs, cleaning & charging

The little things worth knowing.

What bulb do Dropzilla lamps use?
Most table and floor lamps use a standard E27 holder, we recommend a warm-white LED around 2700K. Moon, panda, mood and projector lamps have their LED built in, so no bulb needed.
Are the lamps dimmable?
Built-in LED pieces like Luna, Panda Glow and the Astronaut projector are dimmable via touch or remote. E27 lamps are dimmable if you use a dimmable bulb on a dimmer switch.
How do I clean my lamp?
Switch it off and wipe with a dry or lightly damp microfibre cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, and never submerge electrical parts. See the material guide above for specifics.
How do I charge the rechargeable lamps?
Luna and Panda Glow charge via USB-C. A full charge takes about 2 to 3 hours and lasts several hours depending on brightness.
Is there a warranty?
Every lamp is covered against manufacturing defects. If anything's wrong on arrival, message us within 7 days for a replacement or refund.
